Brannon Braga is a television writer, producer, and director from Montana who became especially well known for his work on Star Trek.

Brannon Braga was born on August 14, 1965, in Bozeman, Montana. As a young writer he started as an intern on Star Trek: The Next Generation and went on to write or co-write more than 100 Star Trek episodes, including the famous series finale "All Good Things". He later helped run Star Trek: Voyager and co-created Star Trek: Enterprise, and he also co-wrote the movies Star Trek Generations and Star Trek: First Contact. Outside of Star Trek, Braga has produced and written other science and adventure shows, such as the science series Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey and Cosmos: Possible Worlds, the thriller 24, the time-travel drama Terra Nova, and the space comedy The Orville.
