Greycliff Prairie Dog Town State Park

Greycliff Prairie Dog Town State Monument is located in southeast Montana. This historic site is for day use only. The blacktailed prairie dog community is protected and preserved through the efforts of the Nature Conservancy, the Montana Departments of Transportation and Fish, Wildlife and Parks. The site is 98 acres in size and is situated at 3,600 feet in elevation. The parking area is handicapped accessible and pets are allowed, but MUST BE ON LEASH. Interpretive displays tell the story of these amusing creatures.

How To Find It!

Greycliff Prairie Dog Town State Monument is located 9 miles east of Big Timber on I-90 at Greycliff exit.
